Meet Our Guest Speaker for September’s INTENT Programme Webinar

Dear NORI Community,

We are pleased to invite you to our September INTENT Programme Webinar.

This month, we continue our exploration of Ethics: Towards an Ethical Framework for the Care and Education of the African Child.

We will be joined by Gertrude Yayra Hukporty, a Social Worker & Licensed Counsellor whose work focuses on:

  • Child protection, welfare, and community-based interventions

  • Supporting children in street situations

  • Counselling and psychosocial support

  • Education and skills development

  • Protection, family reunification, and reintegration

Together, we will explore an important question:

What is our duty as adults towards the children in our care?

What responsibilities do parents, educators, communities, and institutions have in protecting children and creating environments where they can grow and flourish?

As we celebrate the next phase of NORI, we’re pleased to make this month’s seminar FREE for everyone.

Ethics: Towards an Ethical Framework for the Care and Education of the African Child

Happy New Month, NORI Community!

We know this message is a little late. There have been quite a few changes happening behind the scenes as we move into an exciting new phase at NORI, and we’re glad to finally share some of what’s ahead.

This Month’s Theme: ETHICS

Towards an Ethical Framework for the Care and Education of the African Child

This month, we are turning our attention to Ethics and asking an important question:

What should an ethical framework for the care and education of the African child look like?

Our goal is to identify the critical issues that can steal our children’s potential and explore strategies for protecting and safeguarding them.

Before we begin outlining and exploring these ideas, we want to hear from you.

Your perspectives and experiences are an important part of the conversation. Please take a few minutes to complete this month’s questionnaire:

Share Your Perspective

As parents, educators, leaders, and members of our communities, we all have a responsibility to protect children and help create environments where they can thrive.

At NORI, we are working to co-create an education and care framework that nurtures the individual genius of every African child, regardless of where they live in the world.

Genius thrives in nurturing environments.

🔔 An Update on Our Membership

We also have some exciting changes coming to our membership structure.

In the coming days, we will be moving away from the £51/month 1:1 coaching tier and introducing a monthly Mastermind.

The Mastermind will be a supportive group coaching programme held once a month for those implementing the INTENT Programme in their lives as parents, educators, leaders, or researchers.

For those already on the 1:1 coaching tier, you will continue to receive your 1:1 support while also gaining access to the Mastermind.

If you would like to take advantage of this transition, you can:

Or send us a WhatsApp message for more information:

A video explaining these changes in more detail will be released shortly.

We look forward to continuing this important work with you and hearing your perspectives throughout the month.

Thank you all.
