This month, we continue our exploration of Ethics: Towards an Ethical Framework for the Care and Education of the African Child.
We will be joined by Gertrude Yayra Hukporty, a Social Worker & Licensed Counsellor whose work focuses on:
Child protection, welfare, and community-based interventions
Supporting children in street situations
Counselling and psychosocial support
Education and skills development
Protection, family reunification, and reintegration
Together, we will explore an important question:
What is our duty as adults towards the children in our care?
What responsibilities do parents, educators, communities, and institutions have in protecting children and creating environments where they can grow and flourish?
